People of Ukraine

There is a humanitarian crisis unfolding before our eyes in Ukraine.

Many organisations are helping with humanitarian needs in the bordering countries, looking after refugees fleeing the country.

Where it’s more challenging for organisations to operate is within the country, to fulfil the humanitarian requirements for those desperately in need still inside, either trapped or not willing to leave their homeland.

This is where we come in. Utilising on the experience of our volunteer team that have operated in Ukraine over the past 14 years, our considerable contacts within the country, our experience operating in high threat, expeditionary and disaster environments, our combined logistical and medical expertise and our belief that people should have at the very least basic needs of food, clothing, shelter, medical help and to live without fear, we aim to have a transformational effect to help the people still within the country of Ukraine.

The Adventure Boutique Foundation has local volunteer teams on the ground currently in Ukraine in the city of Lviv and also in Poland.

We have analysed the humanitarian needs of the people and have linked with the main humanitarian headquarters in Lviv for further requirements as well as receiving requirements from the Ukraine Ministry of Health.

We are working with local teams and have established a supply route into Ukraine to be able to reach parts of the country that most will find difficult to reach.

What is required is cold hard cash to be able to purchase the necessary items which can be transported to the people within Ukraine through our supply routes.

Just one of the many urgent needs currently is baby food and fruit.

There has been a massive influx of refugees from the eastern part of Ukraine who have headed to Lviv, which can be a gateway to Poland. Many people though are staying in Lviv as this is their homeland.

A significant number of the refugees entering Lviv are small children.

Baby food has run out and there isn’t the supply in country to purchase.

There is also very little fruit left and a particular need for apples, bananas and mandarins that can be used as baby food.

Every penny you donate will go to the humanitarian needs of the Ukrainian people in Ukraine. The staff from The Adventure Boutique Foundation are all volunteers who give up their time and expertise freely to improve the livelihoods of communities around the world and make this planet a better place.
